We are Christ Church Chester.

As our name suggests, we long for Jesus Christ to be at the heart of who we are and what we do. He is the “cornerstone” of the church. We are:

As we grow into this vision, we seek to:

• Make the Bible, prayer and worship central to our lives as we follow Jesus
• Be guided by the Holy Spirit as we grow in the knowledge of God’s love and truth
• Be a warm, welcoming and encouraging community, made up of all ages, backgrounds and stages of faith
• Share God’s love through compassionate care and practical action
• See lives transformed by Jesus

We are inspired by the words of Ephesians 2.19-22: “You are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.”
